Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC®), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is excited to support Operation Clean Sweep (OCS) once again in 2026. OCS is an industry-led program that supports companies in their goal towards achieving zero plastic resin loss in their operations, and we are proud to be part of this initiative.
Plastic resins are not biodegradable, so they remain in the environment long after they are lost. It is important to not lose a single ounce of resin during our trucking and transloading operations across North America, which is why QC has partnered with OCS since 2021.
Danielle Kruichak, Manager – Environmental at QC, shared, “Our team, and the public, live in the same environments that we work in every day. It’s important that we take steps to protect them. Our goal is not just to achieve the bare minimum of compliance, but to protect our people and the communities we serve. Being part of OCS is just one more way we go about achieving that goal.”
As noted in our guiding principle to Operate Safely, we are committed to conducting our operations in a manner that protects our employees, affiliate partners, surrounding communities, customers and the environment. Led by our Environmental team, QC will continue to strive for zero plastic loss by educating, training, and supporting the teammates who handle these materials across our operations. We look forward to continuing our partnership with OCS in the coming years.
