Dave, a driver with over 40 years of experience, recently joined Quality Carriers and brings a wealth of knowledge from his fuel and milk hauling background. 

Woody, a veteran driver with over 60 years and 9 million miles of driving, shares captivating stories from his career, including a memorable drive to Alaska over frozen water. Woody’s tales highlight the significant changes he has witnessed in the industry over the decades.

The next stop on Randy’s tour is Parker, Pennsylvania, where the terminal has achieved a milestone by passing its first third-party audit with zero findings. This exceptional accomplishment underscores the high standards maintained by the team. 

The Parker terminal features a four-bay operation, including one dedicated to stamp work and welding. Randy observes the repair of a trailer that would have been scrapped in the past due to extensive damage. This repair capability showcases the value of their certifications and expertise, ultimately saving the company money. 

The team at Parker, including mechanics and office personnel, displays a high level of skill and dedication. Tyler, one of the mechanics, shares his unique story of managing a dirt bike driving training business alongside his work at the terminal, involving his young daughters in the sport.

The tour concludes with a visit to the Pittsburgh area terminal in Coraopolis. This longstanding terminal has a wash, maintenance services, and a busy four-bay shop. 

Randy meets several new and enthusiastic staff members, including a half-dozen mechanics and the terminal’s driver manager, Eric. The Coraopolis terminal boasts around 25 to 30 drivers, all contributing to its dynamic and productive environment.
